The Ref. 5711 is the closest model to the original 5700 released in 1976, employing a center seconds hand and simple semi-instantaneous date, and available only in steel with steel bracelet. It is a single millimeter larger than the original, at 43 mm across, and features a sapphire case-back like the rest of the range.
For the smaller wrist, like mine, the Ref. 5800 measures 38.4 mm across, sharing a similar dial layout with the 5711.
