Chopard has opened a new flagship store on 709 Madison Avenue in New York, their 100th store internationally and the largest one to date. Designed by famed architect Thierry W. Despont, the Madison boutique features rotating custom LCD screens that display Chopard’s exquisite jewellery range and an eco-friendly design concept which preserves its former townhouse ambience.

To celebrate this milestone in their retail history, Chopard has launched a selection of limited edition horological and jewellery pieces, aptly named the 709 Madison Collection. The collection comprises the “Happy Apple” line for women, showcasing a symbolic apple in white diamonds or rubies encased in a sleek black ceramic watch, and a complementary 18-carat white or yellow gold “Happy Apple” pendant set with diamonds.

For the men, Chopard has released limited editions of the Mille Miglia GT XL and L.U.C XP watches with a midnight blue dial and the New York City skyline engraved on the back of each casing. The Haute Joaillerie Collection completes Chopard’s 709 Madison Collection, the highlight of which is an intricate necklace of brilliant square-cut diamonds and 13 large pear drop emeralds, sold exclusively in New York.
