Porsche Design is now into shoes. The German design group has announced an extension of its licensing partnership with German leather goods manufacturer Müller & Meirer to make high-quality men's shoes. The first collection under the Porsche Design brand will debut in 2010. 

The pair had previously enjoyed a successful partnership, producing soft luggage bags, with the "French Classic" business series (as shown in pictures) in 2005 receiving accolades for innovative leather design.  Founded by Heinrich Müller in 1952, Müller & Meirer started as a small leather goods factory and over time, established itself as a leading German manufacturer of small leather goods. In the mid-1990s, the company made its license business a core aspect of the company’s direction and policy.
