ICEHOTEL is a piece of art that renews itself with every winter. Located in the heart of Jukkasjärvi, 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden, what started out as a night’s rest in an igloo evolved to be the ICEHOTEL that it is known this very day.

Come every winter, this space turns into a playground for selected artists from all over the world to design unique art suites of ice and sculptures that last the length of winter.

Every hotel suite is a piece of art and every experience never the same as the one before. Dress in warm thermal wear and soak in the cozy thermal sleeping bag on a special bed of ice, awake the next morning with a cup of hot lingonberry juice at your bedside and to a buffet breakfast spread fit for a king.

There is also an ICEHOTEL restaurant, which serves dishes on ice plates made from the crystal clear ice of the Torne River. Want to pledge eternal vows with your loved one? There is always the Ice church for lovers from afar. This fairy tale nature of ice is certainly an experience of a lifetime.
