Whilst the Ovopur Water Dispenser looks like a bizarre artistic spin of a water droplet, one cannot deny the contemporary design would make a splashing statement of style in any home.

Not just your average water filter, designers Noémie & Manual Desroches who come from a well-known family of Quebec entrepreneurs have ensured that the Ovopur is as environmentally friendly as it is aesthetically pleasing.

Using the forces of gravity with no electricity required to power it, the 100 percent recyclable Aquacristal filter cartridge is made of first class filtering materials proven to remove chemicals and organic pollutants. The result? Water in its purest state.

Priced at CAD$560 without add-ons or cartridge refills, the Ovopur is an investment that Canada-based manufacturer Aquaovo calculates to cost cheaper than the market price of bottled water at just CAD$0.33 per liter in its first year of investment and CAD$0.07 per liter in the subsequent years of usage.
