Jaquet Droz’s first foray into sports watches takes the form of the
Grande Seconde Sports Utility Watch (SUW). Taking design cues from the “Grande Seconde”, the SUW sports a fluted bezel with
hollowed out lugs, and crown guards that are built into the steel case.
The
super-luminova skeleton hands have been painted orange for easy reading of
time, as well as highlighting its “racing sports” credentials. Like the strap,
the dial is also made of rubber, and there is a new patented folding clasp
system which will start featuring in this and other timepieces.
