Lexus have launched the Lexus Hybrid Living Suite, as part
of their eco-friendly lifestyle initiative – the Lexus Hybrid Living.
Environmental sensitivity is the focal point of this elegant hotel suite in the
Fairmont San Francisco, designed with eco-friendly materials.
The 10th floor corner suite overlooking the San
Francisco bay is the work of L.A.-based designer, Kelly LaPlante, a specialist
in organic interiors.
The environmentally conscious designer has reinvented the
space, melding the hotel’s classical style with forward-thinking green design
by using a range of non-toxic products, natural dyes, renewable and sustainable
materials, and even recycled leather from Lexus automobiles.
A second eco-suite
is already in the works, and is set to open at the D.C. Fairmont in spring. A
night in the eco-friendly suite costs US$869, and comes with complimentary use
of the new Lexus V8 hybrid, the LS 600h L.
