Ferrari have announced details of the new Ferrari
California, set to be unveiled to the public in the Paris International Car
Show in October this year. The latest GT to join the new generation of Ferraris such as
the 599 GTB Fiorano and the F430 Scuderia, the
California is also the Italian marque’s first retractable hardtop
convertible.
In a departure from pervious models, the California features
a mid-front mounted 4.3-liter V8 engine with direct fuel injection, pushing out
460 bhp. With that amount of power, the California sprints to 100 km/h from
rest in less than four seconds, with a performance-boosting seven-speed
dual-clutch transmission for that added driving pleasure.
