Peugeot Moulins, French maker of kitchenware that shares the
same roots as its more famous automaking cousin, Peugeot Automobiles, has
released a new product that adds a touch of modernity to an age-old French
tradition – wine.
The Peugeot electric wine opener makes uncorking a bottle a
breeze. When positioned over the bottle, a precision corkscrew will extract and
release the cork in a matter of seconds, all at the push of a button.
Quicker
and easier to use than a manual corkscrew, it performs equally well with
natural and synthetic corks. Made of steel and polycarbonate, this compact
device can be easily recharged by plugging it into an electric
transformer.
