Pioneers of luxury travel in China, Abercrombie and Kent,
have come up with a new way for travelers to discover the breathtaking beauty
of China’s famed Three Gorges. The Yangzi Explorer will be the first five-star
boutique cruise ship of its kind to set sail on the mighty Yangzi River.
Passengers aboard the ship will get to enjoy panoramic views
of the river and its dramatic gorges from the private balconies of the
cruiser’s 24 spacious suites and 38 deluxe cabins. A series of exciting onboard
activities and shore excursions will complete their journey of discovery along
China’s historic lifeline, the Yangzi River.
Operating between Yichang and Chongqing, 3-night downstream
sailings and 4-night upstream sailings are available. The Yangzi Explorer is
expected to make its maiden voyage down the river on July 24.
