With 40 years of experience under their belt, Milan-based design firm, Cesana, specializes in contemporary and functional shower enclosures made from toughened glass. They believe in creating a perfectly adaptable system that integrates different spaces within a home.

Picture a seamless transition from bathroom to bedroom, bathroom to living room, or even bathroom to veranda. Cesana’s latest Plano collection, designed by Giulio Gianturco and Mario Tessarollo, advocates simplicity with a steel shower tray set in line with the floor.

Eight milimeters or 10mm toughened glass at a height of 200 cm, is joined to the tray by a steel support bar overhead, creating clean lines that will draw attention to surrounding furnishings within its shared space.

Select from a choice of aluminium, teak shower or pral (an artificial material composed by natural minerals and acrylic components) shower mats available in 80 x 80 cm, 80 x 120, and 90 x 120 cm sizes. Other options include an 80 x 180 cm front glass panel.
