The world’s first Formula One night race in Singapore will be celebrated by
independent watchmaking label Richard Mille with a special timepiece for
Ferrari’s Felipe Massa, the RM 011 Felipe Massa Special Edition.
As watch aficionados are well aware, Richard Mille has worked several
times with Massa, the most recent being
with the RM 011 Felipe Massa Flyback Chronographe.
It is this watch that bears the distinction of being issued in a limited
series of 50 (titanium only) in conjunction with the night race. The Special
Edition is executed in the colors of the Singapore flag and features a DLC
treatment for the case.
The watch has all the same complications, functions and features – big
date, month, annual calendar, flyback chronograph and skeletonized automatic
winding rotor, with adjustable geometry – as the earlier RM 011.
