Nissan's luxury division Infiniti will release a convertible
variant of its popular G37 Coupe in early 2009, which stands to feature a
three-piece hardtop foldable metal roof, designed to maintain a coupe-like
roofline, along with various enhancements.
These include a new 7-speed
automatic transmission, updated 18-inch wheels, an optional sports brake
package, audio and HVAC system upgrades, and Scratch Shield paint.
The engine
will however remain as the 328 horsepower 3.7L V6, the same version used in the
G37 coupe. Three different versions of the convertible will be offered, namely
standard, Journey and Sport.
