For those looking for a five star cruise vacation without ever having to leave the shore, Turkey’s Queen Elizabeth Elite Suite Hotel & Spa may just have the answer.

$50 million has been spent decking this 325-room luxury hotel in the guise of a massive cruise liner – one destined to stay grounded in its home between the spectacular Toro Mountains and the glittering Mediterranean in Göynük, Antalya.

Laid out to resemble harbor, the hotel grounds feature smaller villas, each designed as ships, all berthed in a network of turquoise swimming pools. On board the cruiser, a host of dining and entertainment options await.

Guests will have access to a fitness center complete with saunas, Turkish baths, shock pools, steam rooms and Jacuzzis, a spa and wellness center offering a variety of therapies and treatments, and also the hotel’s expansive banquet and conference facilities.

Passengers on this special cruise ship will also get to venture out to the nearby pools, bars and vistas, and engage in a host of outdoor activities and water sports as and when they please. Although missing the rocking of waves and the salt spray, the Queen Elizabeth offers the nearest alternative for those not yet ready to set sail.
