HTC has just announced plans for a new, upgraded version of
the HTC Touch, the Taiwan-based company’s flagship touch-sensitive pocket PC
phone. The new and improved HTC Touch 3G will include powerful internet
connectivity, along with in-built AGPS being the most notable additions to the
package.
On top of its internet capabilities allowing for download
speeds up to 18 times that of standard 3G, the 96g HTC Touch 3G will come with
a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth capability, 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, WiFi
and 256 MB of internal memory.
The company’s revolutionary TouchFLO navigation
system will combine with a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS for a smooth and
intuitive user experience.
The new HTC Touch 3G will be available in October this year
in four colors: black, blue, gold and brown.
