With the introduction of the FH001 Horn Speaker and the rest
of its similarly fashioned product range, British hi-fi specialists Ferguson
Hill can now lay claim to not only some of the best sounding speakers in the
high-end audio market, but also the most uniquely designed.
Made from clear, toughened cast acrylic and stainless steel,
the FH001’s one-of-a-kind design brings to mind both futuristic and classical
elements, while delivering a high level of clarity, detail and dynamics.
A full
range unit, it functions on its own when handling units ranging from 150Hz –
20KHz, although a sub-woofer is required for anything lower than 150Hz.
Power requirements are relatively low at five watts, which allows
pairing with lower powered amplifiers (3-50 watts) and an overall higher level
of clarity. The FH001 is available now at the price of around US$18,500, and is
a stellar choice for any audiophile looking for something out of the ordinary.
