Reports from eurocarblog.com are suggesting that Ferrari could
soon add a spider version of the 430 Scuderia. A possible retractable hard-top
means the coupe is likely to weigh a little more than its fully clothed cousin.
Power will come from the same 510hp 4.3-liter V8 of the 430 Scuderia, so the
spider version should not differ much in terms of its performance capabilities.
It will also come fitted with the new 7-speed dual clutch transmission first
introduced in the Ferrari California.
Only 300 units of the Spider Scuderia
will be made. We’ll bring you more information of the Ferrari 430 Spider come 5
November when the car is expected to see first light at the Ferrari Challenge
at Mugello.
But in the meantime, click here to read what our motoring expert
Ian Kuah has to say about the F430 Scuderia.
