Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai is the newest member of
Europe-based hotel group World Hotels and will go into its prestigious Deluxe
Collection.
Owned by Plaza Royale Hotels and Spas, a relative newcomer
to the hospitality scene, the 523-room Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai first
opened in July this year along Pudong Avenue, a stone’s throw away from
Shanghai’s financial district.
As with any premium five-star hotel, the hotel is decked in
luxurious furnishings, the latest modern accoutrements, and offers exquisite
dining options. The entire 6th floor houses all the facilities to
enjoy a good workout, including a gym, aerobics studio, spa, and indoor
swimming pool.
But if you desire to do nothing, just kick back over a glass of
martini, and gaze at the lights and glitter of modern and old Shanghai from
your lofty heights.
