Design Hotels’ newest member, The George, will be opening its doors in Hamburg this coming November. Kai Hollmann, the German Hotelier of the Year in 2003 who is an integral part of Hamburg’s hotel scene, is responsible for bringing The George to the residents of Hamburg, who now can now have a taste of London without having to venture very far.

Tradition-rich social clubs of England inspires The George, giving this 125-room luxury hotel a traditional English design with a contemporary twist. From the guestrooms and clubrooms to the lounge and bar, The George offers handsome spaces that have a dynamic yet understated urban elegance.

Colorful Indian saris add dashes of spice as bedspreads in the guestrooms, while Chesterfield furniture brings elegance to the library. The spa is inspired by Marrakech design and lavish carpets throughout the hotel lend a very clubroom feel. 

The classy yet cosy atmosphere makes it a wonderful place to socialize. In addition, the rooftop terrace, two clubrooms, lounge and restaurant with an attached England garden are available for private hire.
