The Harvest Collection from Caran d’Ache is designed around the Akoya pearl. The platinum writing instrument is engraved with spirals around its platinum casing and punctuated with a pearl at the cap.

At the tip of the cap, diamonds complement this lustrous pearl which is harvested only once a year in Japan. The guillochage of the slender pen and the nib block resembles seashell curves, and the bodies of the pens are embellished with a row of five Akoya pearls. The fountain pen has a piston pump in platinum-coated silver plate, decorated with guillochage and set with a  diamond.  The 18-carat yellow gold nib is platinum-plated with circular engravings, suggestive of the pearl atop its exterior.

Apart from the fountain pen, the roller and ballpoint pen feature the same exquisite detailing for their pearl-encrusted bodies and the collection includes a full line of matching leather ware and desk accessories.
