Classic took an exceptionally
luxurious twist, with the German lens giant’s latest extension to its D-Lux 4
series. This time, the trademark Leica look is re-clothed in silver-grey
anodised titanium, complete with a matching premium calf leather case.
The limited edition series comes
complete with the standard technical features of the 10.1 megapixels D-Lux 4,
which includes an overlarge 1/1.63" CCD image sensor, 3-inch LCD screen,
manual and automatic operation, various scene modes, the option to capture RAW
images and movie recording.
The Leica D-Lux 4 Titan is also
accessories-friendly, being compatible with extensions available to the
archetypal D-Lux 4 model.
While the standard D-Lux 4 model already stands out
being the maker’s first compact system camera, its titanium refurbished cousin
aims to bring style to quality photography, with its elegant satin finish.
With only 10,000 sets released
worldwide by January 2009, the Leica D-Lux 4 Titan in Limited Edition Titanium
is highly exclusive. Packing skill, style and luxury in a lithe and compact
body, it is truly a delectable piece.
