Formerly  known as the Yearbook, this publication of the Design Hotels has a new focus for 2009. Now that design has fully permeated the world of hotels, turning boutique hotels into a full-blown phenomenon, the once-niche design hotels have found themselves joined by any number of new entrants, all claiming bragging rights as “design hotels.”

Therefore the group decided that the time is right for a change, hence the change with the book and the revamp of the website, which will be launched March 2009. Design Hotels AG co-founder, CEO and President Claus Sendlinger was in Singapore to announce the Made by Originals concept, which is how Design Hotels plans to reinvent itself.
