Since its early coachbuilding days, niche German automaker
Wiesmann has graduated to styling and making its own retro-looking coupes and
roadsters. The company celebrates its 20th anniversary this year,
and has lined up a fleet of special editions for the occasion.
Heading the special editions is the GT MF4-S, with a BMW
M3-sourced engine (a 4.8-liter V8) and tuned to 420hp, which ups the ante over
the standard MF4 producing 367hp. There’s a choice of a six-speed manual or
dual clutch unit for the transmission.
The interiors come with the usual personalized owner’s name
engraving and production number, and special embroidered seats. Only 30 models
of the MF4-S will be made, while Wiesmann goes to work on two more special
editions to complete the commemorative lineup.
