Exclusive Belgian luxury garden furniture makers Royal Botania have revealed a modern take on the traditional hammock, and its resulting Wave collection of outdoor furniture is nearly impossible to ignore.

Part hammock, part sun chair, part parasol and part functional art, Wave is constructed from polished stainless steel and two types of perforated fabric. The canopy is semi-transparent and diffuses sunlight while providing anyone who sits within it with a warm cocoon of space.

Visually, Wave works as a stunning centerpiece for outdoor spaces designed with a modern, fashion-forward motif; suspended seemingly in mid-air from a single point, clean dynamic lines help to outline the lounger’s personal space.
