There is a popular fashion adage that
states one can never go wrong with black. Yehouda Saketkhou, founder of San Francisco-based high
jewelry company Yael Designs, seems to have abided by that style policy
for his latest collection.
Christened
“Mosaic”, the collection revolves around the use of black and white diamonds to
create hypnotizing patterns set against white or two-tone gold. True to its
name, the artfully arranged diamonds collectively form swirls, spirals and
intricate geometric motifs.
While the use of black and white diamonds have been
a favored dynamic duo for years, Saketkhou puts a dramatic spin on his pieces,
maximizing the ebony shine of the black diamonds to transform it into a classic
staple with a modern, dramatic edge.
The
“Mosaic” collection ranges from $5000 to $15,000.
