Think of the Summer Fair as a flea market
for the wealthy, with the slight difference that instead of trinkets and
vintage treats, gold-plated Macbooks, a customized Mercedes and other luxurious
products were up for grabs.
Held in Moscow over the
last weekend, the Summer Fair, a scaled-down version of the Millionaire Fair luxury
market, attracted over 5,000 of Russia’s
elite.
An enticing concoction of shopping and
entertainment, the fair opened to the strains of British pop singer Sophie
Ellis-Baxtor who performed a 30-minute set at the Royal Bar Yacht Club.
Arguably the highlight of the fair however was
the sheer variety of luxury goods and services available, among which includes high-end watch brands Panerai and
Piaget.
From Ferraris to yoga
seminars by the beach to a €15,000 African Serval cat, there was no end to the
decadence of the weekend bazaar.
