German luxury crystal glass maker Zwiesel Kristallglas AG launched the Zwiesel 1872 Gourmet and Living Collections in Singapore recently.

In a special luncheon for 14 society ladies, Zwiesel Asia-Pacific Managing Director Christopher Oudin introduced the collections, which include everything from colorful vases to exquisite decanters, bowls and tumblers.

Of special note is the Okiu bowl, which at first glance might appear to be some sort of ceramics but is actually crystal of course. This piece is a red dot design award winner.

Organized by event planner extraordinaire Olga Iserlis at a private residence, the lunch itself was a four-course affair prepared by the Hilton Hotel, with wines from Cape Mentelle.

The ladies who lunched were guests for the event were Lai Yong Lawrence, Chin Bottinelli, Ingrid Prasatya, Tang Wen Li, Dana Cheong, I-Ann Kuo, Donna Meyer, Tatiana Alieva, Sophie Pendleton, Lynette Cheong, Khim Poh and Gladys Kwek.
