Luxury technology brand Vertu made its grandest mark on China recently with the Beijing launch of its largest boutique in the country. The long-established leader of the handcrafted luxury mobile phone industry also used the occasion to trot out the Constellation Vivre and the Signature 2G, which the brand describes as the most highly crafted phone ever made.

“We are happy to bring this exquisite Signature 2G version to China and as well as a series of innovative exotic leathers, and precious material designs, to be launched in 2009,” said Vertu Principal Designer Frank Nuovo.

Nuovo was joined by actress Michelle Yeoh and Vertu General Manager of Greater China Pauline Cheng as the guests of honor at the officiating ceremony of the new Beijing boutique. The 75 square meters store is located at Jinpao Place and will stock the brand’s three main collections: the Signature, the Ascent and the Constellation. The Constellation Vivre – co-designed and inspired by Yeoh – will be available worldwide after this launch.
