Snowskin mooncakes take centre
stage again this Mid-Autumn festival at St. Regis Singapore, which has prepared a
Mid-Autumn menu of premium mooncakes worthy of its first-rate reputation. Under
skilful rendition of award winning chef Yan Ting, the traditional sweet snack
is transformed into various items of cultural fusion and quality taste.
Their protégé snow skin items are
not only good on the outside but also pretty impressive on the inside.
One of
their star items, Ginger Infused Milk Snow Skin Mooncake with Century Egg and
Custard Paste is a pioneer, revolutionary introduction of century egg to the
family of mooncake ingredients, while their Almond Snow Skin Mooncake with
Premium Bird’s Nest literally takes the cake, with whole strands of that rare
delicacy nestled in its truffle centre.
The festival’s staples are not
oversighted, but repackaged in high quality goodness using the best lotus seeds
under the keen attention of Chef Yan, who has also thoughfully developed a wine
and tea pairing menu in compliment of the tasty morsels, available at Yan Ting
or a venue of your choice aided by the dedicated St Regis culinary catering
team.
Yan Ting’s mooncakes will be made
available at the lobby of St Regis Singapore from 28 August. Early birds may
also enjoy a 5 percent discount if they book before 27 August.
