Luxury mobile phone maker Vertu launched the newest member of their Constellation collection, the Vertu Constellation Ayxta, in London on Thursday.

Among other things, this is the first flip phone from Vertu. Featuring both the Vertu Concierge and Vertu Select services, the phone is pitched at meeting the lifestyle needs of well-heeled globetrotters.

This will be the first Vertu phone to offer the Vertu Select City Brief service - a "digest of essential information sent directly to the phone." As always, Creative Director Frank Nouvo has incorporated the signature 'V' shape throughout the design.

A highly evolved mechanical hinge distinguishes the Ayxta and we will be bringing you more details about the craftsmanship behind this phone as more information emerges.

The Constellation Ayxta features an exclusively composed soundtrack by British music pioneers and Grammy nominees, Zero 7. "The Vertu Constellation Ayxta is a continuation of the brand's quest to provide an outstanding collection of true luxury mobile phones and accessories for exceptional individuals," said newly appointed Vertu President Perry Oosting. Prices range from 4,900 to 6,500 euros.
