In a world of scents and sensibility, cosmetics doyenne La Prairie reaches out to caress women who are looking for a sprinkling of chutzpah in their fragrances. If the tricked-out bottles of the Life Threads collection don’t tell you that these fragrances call attention to themselves, you either have the observational skills of a cucumber or you’re an irredeemable cynic.

First of all, the three bottles (Silver, Gold and Platinum) are absolutely fabulous and they will stop you in your tracks. They’re worth cheking out just for that. Ok, so what’re these like on the nose? Well ,we haven’t tried them out ourselves (yet) so we’ll let La Prairie’s French perfumer Constance Georges-Picot speak for them.

“My work is an extension of my life.
