This month Burberry will write their name in the history books for becoming the first fashion house to stream a collection live and in 3D. It promises to be quite a show.

As Burberry's fall/winter 2010 collection makes its way up and down the runway at London Fashion Week, it will be streamed simultaneously directly to invitation-only, custom screening sites watched by people fully-equipped with 3D goggles.

Burberry’s chief creative officer, Christopher Bailey (above) said it will "enable people to experience the energy and atmosphere of this event from around the world. 3D technology will bring our global audience into the London show space allowing them to see the colours and fabrics, to hear the music and to be a part of that moment when it all finally comes together.’’

Burberry is teaming up with SKY television to use their 3D technology, in what will prove to be an unprecedented, and one of the most eagerly anticipated collaborations the fashion world has ever seen.

The 3D event will be screened to five locations worldwide. In New York - Skylight studios; in Paris - the concept store, Colette; in Dubai - The Address; in Tokyo - La Fabrique for ‘’Burberry Night’’; and in Los Angeles - the event will hosted by Tina Brown, editor of The Daily Beast.

If you're in any of those locations and can get hold of those ultra exclusive tickets, February 23 should be circled in thick, black ink.
