The real estate developer Henderson Land has been showing several works by the renowned sculptor Michael Wilkinson at their latest luxury development, Hill Paramount, in Shatin, Hong Kong.
Thomas Lam Tat-man, General Manager of Henderson Land, said: "Hill Paramount is surrounded by lush green hills, and we see its location as akin to a natural work of art. Thus within the development we also sought out art pieces at the same level of beauty and rarity. Michael Wilkinsons sculptures are ideal accompaniments to the natural beauty of Hill Paramounts location, and integrate well with the atmosphere of artistry and achievement we have created within the interiors.
A particular highlight of the private exhibition was the sculpture Always. Made in 1996 in a limited edition of 500 pieces, today it trades at more than 5 times its original value and the piece was the only one in existence in Asia.
Every lift in the development will also display Wilkinsons 50th creation. Forever (above), a limited edition of 200 that depicts two lovers on the edge of a
kiss.
Located in Shatin Mid-Levels, Hill Paramount, offers 153 distinct properties with views stretching from Lion rock, Beacon hill to the banks of Shing Mun river.
