The A700 AdamJet is revolutionizing the value proposition in the Very Light Jet (VLJ) business jet class by delivering exceptional performance and comfort at a fraction of the ownership cost. Modern airframe design and materials, coupled with highly efficient turbofan engines, usher in a new era of business jet travel.

The A700 AdamJet is a turbofan-powered aircraft that can be configured with six, seven, or eight seats. With the largest cabin in its class and modular, plug-and-play functionality, customers can opt for a six-seat configuration with full aft lavatory, a seven-seat configuration with small aft lavatory, or an eight-seat configuration that maximizes passenger volume. In-cabin storage is located just aft of the crew seats and outside the lavatory compartment. Baggage, including bulky items such as up to four sets of golf clubs, can be stored in the 25 cubic foot nose compartment.

Power is provided by the Williams International FJ33-4A turbofan engine, which has a thermodynamic rating of 1,568 lbs of thrust. For the A700 AdamJet, the FJ33 is de-rated to 1,350 lbs of thrust. Mid-life inspection of the FJ33 will take place at 1,750 hours and engine overhaul at 3,500 hours.

The A700 AdamJet avionics suite includes a state-of-the-art glass cockpit that provides Primary Flight Display (PFD) capability for the pilot. The PFD displays all attitude, heading, airspeed, altitude, and vertical speed data as well as flight director, command bars, heading, and altitude preselects. In addition, Multifunction Display (MFD) capability provides all navigational information along with engine instrumentation. For maximum situational awareness, the flight instrument panel has the capacity to display weather, traffic, and terrain data. Multiple solid-state Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) and Air Data Computers (ADC) provide attitude and air data information, while a three-axis digital autopilot, and flight management system functionality is also included.

The A700 AdamJet will be certified to the requirements of U.S. FAR Part 23 including Day, Night, VFR, IFR, Single Pilot Operation, Flight Into Known Icing Conditions, and RVSM certification. In addition, the aircraft will obtain various foreign certifications such as EASA for European operations.

At EBACE 2007, Adam Aircraft announced that a China-based entity of Ameritech Aerospac, General Aviation Airlines has placed a firm order for 50 Adam Aircraft A700 VLJs. Moreover, late last year, Magnum Jet has chosen the A700 AdamJet for its new Very Light Jet (VLJ) ownership and management program and future air limo service.
