This luxury airline offers pampering perks on par with those offered in the traditional business class.
Its exclusive check-ins let you arrive at the airport up to 90 minutes before the trans-atlantic fight.
After that, sink back on the elegant sofas at its dedicated lounge at Stansted airport, replete with
wi-fi access, food and beverage, and reading material.
MaxJet Boeing 767 cabins are retrofitted with 90 blue-leather seats, which are configured in
three rows of double seats, all in armchair style. Although the reclining seats do not collapse
into full lie-down beds, seat pitches are 60 inches, which are more spacious than regular business
class flights, translating into plenty of leg room.
Swill champagne and savor canapés after takeoff, followed by a four-course gourmet meal,
which includes a reduced calorie meal if you prefer a healthier choice. Like Silverjet and Eos,
MaxJet offers the takeaway option - 'Express' package - which allows passengers more time to snooze
undisturbed on the flight. At any point in time during the seven-hour flight, you can walk up to the
Chef's Pantry section and have your pick from the selection of gourmet snacks.
Fares start from US$2,100 and Maxjet flies daily between London's Stansted and New York's JFK airport.
