Asia Yachting intends to introduce the 3700 at shows around the region and magazine advertising during the coming months. Meanwhile, the privilege of becoming the first 3700 owner in Asia is still up for grabs to anyone with around 11 million Euros (US$16 million) to spare. But Besson hopes the first one will appear in Hong Kong waters by the end of this year.

The family-owned Couach company began building boats back in 1897. Its philosophy of "yacht couture" and the outstanding traditional skills of its craftsmen have earned it a high reputation during the past century. At the same time, Couach has always believed in embracing contemporary techniques and materials. It was the first boat-builder in the world to use aramat, a combination of fibreglass and Kevlar. Today, it is France's number one composite yacht-builder. Couach even counts the French navy as one of its major clients for over 50 years.

The Couach 3700, which took its naval architects only 12 months to design, marks the company's entry into a new era. She is a yacht of elegant beauty that matches her outstanding performance. Look for a new 3700 gliding through Asian waters soon.
