Situated at the very heart of the Australian continent, Longitude 131 is a small boutique hotel that allows guests
to explore the Outback in five-star luxury. Set against the backdrop of the majestic Uluru (Ayers Rock), guests get
to enjoy this desert getaway in the shadow of Australia’s most iconic natural landmark.
The hotel’s 15 private luxury tents are designed to create the illusion of camping without any compromise in modern
accoutrements. Guests can relax in the climate-controlled comfort of a king-sized bed under a dome of flowing white
fabric, each decorated with visual narratives paying tribute to an early Australian pioneer or explorer. With a flick
of a switch, the cozy space opens up as the blinds rise to reveal breathtaking views of the sun rising over Uluru.
Exploration is a central theme during a stay at Longitude 131, and guests will get to enjoy exciting tour programs.
Here, they will discover the geographical, cultural and spiritual history of the land on a series of visits to the area’s
most famous natural landmarks, including the World Heritage listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. They will also get
to try their hand at Aboriginal dot painting, and get a glimpse of the desert on the back of a camel, cruising along
on a Harley, or from the air in a helicopter.
Back at the hotel, they can unwind in the Dune House, which holds a library, bar, and a dining room where all meals
will be provided, before proceeding for a magical dining experience under the stars at Table 131.
