R8 may not, at first, seem revolutionary. However, they are the biggest new advancement in lighting technology since the advent of xenon gas high-intensity discharge lights of the early 1990s. With lower power consumption, longer life, and enhanced brightness, LED-array headlamps will certainly make their way into many luxury cars in the near future, moreover because they allow greater freedom of design in a car’s front end.
