Unsatisfied with the movie experience at the theatres in town? Goldmund offers a solution to turn your room into an ultra luxurious home theater, regardless of the room’s décor and size. Using a complex acoustic modeling program which Goldmund developed, the Swiss company presented this concept of media room construction it calls “U-Room” in a Demo Center in Los Angeles earlier this year. The room features 128 channels, a matching amp for each, and a controller, to deliver seamless surround sound. The company claims this will cause users to not “know anymore where the sound comes from ” because “you are in it”. In addition, Goldmund will design, build, install, and tune the room before they authenticate your room as a certified Goldmund Media Room. The downside is, the plush seats and velvet seats and carpets are not part of the deal.
