The House of Guerlain has a history of creating luxury perfumes in honor of notable artists. In tribute to the prominent Symbolist painter, Gustav Klimt, the House of Guerlain has created Nuit d'Amour, a floral and feminine scent with hints of woodiness and lychee. Inspired by Klimt's Lady with Hat and Feather Boa (1909), the scent is intended to evoke the emotion that is captured with such poignancy in the lady in the painting's cheeks. Nuit d'Amour comes in its own numbered Baccarat crystal bottle which is nestled in bronze-and-gold adorned wooden case that is fastened by a black buffalo horn clasp. Just 80 bottles of Nuit d'Amour will be made.
