First launched in 2004, the Project Z series has been a tremendous success for Harry Winston Rare Timepieces, featuring the use of zalium (an extremely hard yet light alloy of zirconium used in jet engines) in high-end watch making, which was unprecedented at that time. The shuriken symbol – a traditional multi-bladed weapon used by ninjas – has become iconic to the Project Z collection. The fourth and latest addition to the Z family, the Z4 is a dual time-zone GMT watch that features a day/night indicator for home time, and would be produced in a limited edition of 300.
