In an unusual partnership, the House of Hermès, more renowned for setting fashion trends than accomplishing engineering feats, has inked a deal with Eurocopter to redesign the company’s fleet of EC 135 helicopters. Designed to enhance the experience of business travel, this new project codenamed "l’Hélicoptère par Hermès", will see Hermès designer Gabriele Pezzini collaborating with the engineers from Eurocopter.

From the minimalist exterior paint scheme to the spacious cabin interior dressed in Hermès’ ‘Toile H’ canvas, calf-leather upholstered seats and banquette, the signatures of the Parisian fashion house are plainly evident. First deliveries have been scheduled for 2008. End of Article
