Highland Park has been distilling acclaimed Single Malt whiskies much in the same time-honored way since 1798. Armed with new packaging designs, the highly-regarded Scotch distillery has just launched its range in Southeast Asia.
Proclaimed “The Best Spirit In The World” by noted whisky reviewer Paul Pacult, Highland Park whiskies get their beguiling flavor and complexity from the careful hand-turning of the malt, and a cool-climate maturation process done in a harmonious mixture of Sherry and Bourbon casks.
Their characteristic peaty flavor comes from ancient Orkney peat, which is formed without any trees – the Orkney Islands are too windy to be hospitable to anything but shrubbery – while the smoky and spicy tones are what set really Highland Park’s Single Malts apart. Highland Park’s superb range of Single Malt whiskies is available in 12, 18, 25, and 30-year variations, with the depth of flavor and character increasing dramatically with age.
