They announced its conception a few months ago,
and since then petrolheads the world over have waited with baited breath for
Lamborghini’s million-euro hypercar, said to be inspired by the futuristic F22
Raptor fighter jet – though based on the superlative
LP640
road car. Supercar fans will be pleased to note, then, that the just-unveiled
Reventón appears to fully live up to the hype. With its digital, TFT-screen
instrument panel with cockpit-inspired graphics, outlandish carbonfibre coachwork,
and 6.5 liter, 650 horsepower V12, it would perhaps be the closest thing to a
road-going jet plane on sale today – except all 20 have been spoken for
already.
