Montblanc has unveiled the Montblanc Collection Villeret 1858, comprising four models made of platinum 950, 18K white gold and 18K red gold. Handcrafted by watchmakers from the highly respected Swiss manufacture Minerva SA (now a member of the Richemont Group), all timepieces in this collection come in a limited edition series of 1, 8 and 58 for the platinum, white gold and red gold versions respectively. The watches feature hinged cuvettes that can be unlocked by a patented release mechanism in the strap lugs to reveal the in-house movements through the sapphire crystal caseback. For watch connoisseurs, the thrill lies in seeking out the hidden signatures of the Minerva artisans in the watch movements. From gold filled “Minerva Villeret” engravings on the chronograph bridges to arrow shaped levers and whiplash springs (symbolizing the Minerva logo), every watch in this collection delights with a few intriguing surprises.
