Nokia has unveiled two premium additions to its acclaimed Nokia 8800 series – the Nokia 8800 Arte and Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte. Clad in a polished steel and glass, the phones are aesthetically pleasing and elegant. The 8800 Sapphire Arte even features a genuine sapphire gemstone and brown napa leather accents, offering a delightful tactile feel.

Key features include 3G capabilities, a 3.2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, a 2.0-inch QVGA OLED display, 1GB built-in memory space, MicroUSB all-in-one-connector, and living wallpapers. A "turn-to-mute" function allows users to mute incoming calls by turning their phones face-down. An analogue clock appears on tapping the phone twice for easy time-telling. There's also an anti-fingerprint coating on metal and glass to prevent unwanted oily prints. Adding to the exclusivity of the phones, Nokia has invited famous Austrian DJ duo Kruder & Dorfmeister to lend their creativity in composing a videotrack and ring tones for the phone, with visuals by Fritz Fitzke.
