Officine Panerai have introduced a new case construction method, which enables the movement to be affixed inside the case without the use of any screws. This allows the case to be opened for repair more easily, as well as enhancing the water resistance of the watch. The new screw-on case will be used in the Luminor Marina Automatic 44mm and 40mm, both in titanium, and from the 2007 Contemporary collection. The screwless approach even extends to the bracelets in selected models, which use invisible fastening pins. End of Article
