Richard Mille has bagged the "Les Aiguilles d'Or" (Golden hand) for his RM012 Tourbillon at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie 2007. Held at the Grand Theatre in Geneva, Switzerland, the luminaries of the world of haute horology attended this annual gala event, which is now into its 7th year. First released in April 2006, the platinum-cased RM012 has no "baseplate" per se but instead consists of a labyrinth of miniscule Phynox tubes supporting the movement bridgework.
