You plan your route on the computer, and print out the best way to get to your destination so you can input them into your on-board satellite navigation system. Sounds good enough? The planning process has just gotten much easier. Mercedes-Benz has introduced, in conjunction with the indispensable Google Maps and Yahoo! Local online street directories, Search and Send, which at the click of a mouse and a push of a button, sends your route directly from your computer to the sat-nav in your car so that the route you have chosen programs itself into the car directly. This subscription-based service is available to Mercedes’ US customers now.
