LeVeL33, the world’s highest urban craft-brewery and modern European kitchen, stretches its boundaries with a unique tea-infused culinary journey to mark the 20th World Gourmet Summit (WGS). In collaboration with Britain’s premier tea brand, Newby Teas, LeVeL33’s Executive Chef Jimi Tegerdine will combine bold and delicate flavors of the fragrant tea blends in a unique, one-night-only culinary extravaganza with limited seating on April 22. Furthermore, each tea-infused gourmet dish will be meticulously paired with LeVeL33’s freshly brewed craft beer.
For the first time, LeVeL33 invites guests to explore the evolution of the tea. Bringing foodies, tea connoisseur and beer lovers together at LeVeL33’s stunning private dining room, Chef Jimi and Brewmaster Gabriel will be serving up a decadent five-course tea-inspired beer pairing menu for $98++ per person. LeVeL33’s Brewmaster Gabriel Garcia will serve the 33.21 Rooibos Ale, infused with the aromatic Rooibos Breakfast Tea from Newby's finest tea collection during the one-night-only experience.
Seafood lovers will be reeled in by LeVeL33’s Ceviche, where the glorious plump and meaty langoustine will be drenched with Newby's Ginger & Lemon Tisane tea-infused mirin vinegar and lime gel. The Ceviche will be paired with LeVeL33’s signature 33.1 Blond Lager, a fruity light-bodied craft brew to perfectly complement the appetizer.
Another highlight of the WGS menu is the Ceylon Tea Brined Iberico Pork; curry crusted Spanish pork loin brined with Newby's Ceylon Tea. The savoury meat is topped with sweet Cinnamon Tea apple compote and caramelized milk crumbs guaranteed to delight the tastebuds. This balanced yet flavorful entrée will be paired with a choice of Newby Ceylon Tea or Cinnamon Tea.
